I've hit the one month mark before I leave for Florence, Italy. I've been waiting this whole summer, but these last couple weeks it feels even harder. Not only am I waiting for time to physically pass, I'm waiting for my passport and visa to come in the mail, my housing assignment (which I should receive during the last 10 days of the month), and a beautiful dress that I ordered online. I'm trying to not think about it because it's unproductive, but the anticipation makes every day feel like a week.
So in the meantime to make me feel better, I'm gonna start painting some photos that I took while I was in Italy a couple years ago.

Villa D'Este is absolutely gorgeous and the garden is spectacular. Probably one of my favorite places that we visited on the trip. It was a villa built during the Renaissance, and is now listed on the UNESCO world heritage list.
I can't wait to go back. I think the moment I step off the plane, I'm gonna cry.
